Just got back from checking out the Old School Video Game Art Show at Gallery 1988 in Santa Monica, CA. You might recognize many of these pieces from posts we’ve made on it8bit, and they are even more awesomer in person. If you live in the Los Angeles area, you have no excuse…go. If you have already gone, rad. If there is no possible way for you to be able to view the retro glory in person, check back for more cool photos to come!

Some of you probably do not know that I storyboard for advertising campaigns. Here is a presentation SKETCH for print advertisements for GEARS of WAR III. Usually, this goes to a studio where a CGI image based on this illustration is produced, then used for the actual print ad. Whether this was made or not, I do not know. Colors by Bryan Fowler.
A little tease of the new project I have going with Sam Kieth. This is a big deal to me just because I got a lot of my drawing chops from staring at Sam’s drawings as a kid. We’re both excited as hell about putting this thing out and watching it die a slow death.
